11.11

Today in China it is a Single Day…

 

In a Chinese culture, the signs, the symbols have a lot of importance.

For example today 11.11… with all these “1” the day was naturally attributed to the singles!

So I wish a “Happy Day” to all the single fighter!

 

Aujourd’hui en Chine c’est le Jour des Célibataires…

 

Dans la culture chinoise les signes, les symboles ont beaucoup d’importance.

Par exemple aujourd’hui 11.11… avec tous ces « 1 » le jour a naturellement été attribué aux célibataires !

Alors je souhaite une « Bonne Fête » à tous les célibattants !

Rosa leaves Beijing for Shanghai, she cannot be in my birthday party on Saturday next.

She offered me a very cute pendant.

The next year will be the ox year, in Chinese « 牛 niú ». The pendant represents 2 small hilarious oxen which wish a happy New Year and Healthy forever!

And gook luck for you new job to Shanghai…

Rosa quitte Pékin pour Shanghai, elle ne peut pas être à ma soirée d’anniversaire samedi prochain. Elle m’a offert un pendentif très mignon.

L’année prochaine sera l’année du bœuf « 牛 niú » en chinois. Le pendentif représente 2 petits bœufs hilares qui souhaitent une bonne année et bonne santé !

Et bonne chance pour ton nouveau poste à Shanghai…

Tanzhe Si suite… continuation…

As in many Buddhist Temple, Tanshze Si has several buildings. In 1st, four big and strong guards. That of left is rolled up by a snake, his neighbour carries a parasol, and both of opposite carry a sword for the one and the zither for the other one.

Kings of four directions guard the entrance to many temples protecting the main deity from evil influences.

Comme dans beaucoup de Temple Bouddhiste, Tanshze Si a plusieurs bâtiments. Dans le 1^er, quatre grands et forts gardiens. Celui de gauche est enroulé par un serpent, son voisin porte un parasol,  les deux d’en face portent une épée pour l’un et une cythare pour l’autre.

Les rois des quatre directions gardent l'entrée à beaucoup de temples protégeant la déité principale de mauvaises influences.

This visit was very interesting even if the weather was not very warm!

Tanshe Si ! Le Temple de Tanshe

Temple in the nature!

 

Situated in 45 km on the West by Beijiing " Tanzhe Si " is a big Buddhist temple.

This enormous temple dates back to the 3rd century AD, it was known as “Jiafu Si”.

It was later renamed “Tanzhe Si” after the adjacent mountain “Tanshze Shan” obtained itself this name by the association of the names of the nearby Dragon Pool (Long Tan in Chinese) and from the surrounding trees cudrania (zhe in Chinese) : Tanzhe Si ( and “Si” for Temple)

It is on the hillside of the mountain. Magnificent rise in the middle of trees.

The temple is especially famous for its ancient trees among which a large ginkgo known as the Emperor trees.

In the Stupa Forest Temple (Talin Si), there is marvellous collection of brick stupas hidden among the foliage. Each was constructed in memory of a renowned monk

Situé à 45 km à l’ouest de Pékin »Tanzhe Si » est un grand temple bouddhiste.

Cet énorme temple date du 3ème siècle après JC,  il était connu sous le nom de « Jiafu Si ».

Il a été nommé « Tanzhe Si » plus tard, après que la montagne adjacente « Tanzhe Shan » ait elle-même obtenue ce nom par l’association des noms du « Bassin du Dragon » (« Long Tan » en chinois) et des arbres environnants les « cudrania » (« zhe » en chinois). Soit : Tanzhe Si (et « Si » pour Temple)

Il se trouve sur le versant de la montagne. Splendide montée au milieu des arbres.

Le temple est particulièrement célèbre pour ses arbres anciens parmi lesquels le grand ginkgo connu comme l'Empereur des arbres.

Dans le Temple de la forêt de Stupas (Talin Si), il y a une merveilleuse collection de stupas en  brique cachés parmi le feuillage. Chacun a été construit à la mémoire d'un moine renommé.
