Ils attaquent sournoisement… et vous laissent des grosses cloques désagréables…
Il faut se badigeonner de produit anti moustiques et si on oublie un petit coin, les moustiques le repèrent tout de suite !
Aggressive mosquitoes
They attack hypocritically… and leave you big unpleasant blisters …
It’s necessary to distemper of anti product mosquitoes and if we forget a small place, mosquitoes track down it at once!

Safari to Moorea - Monday, April 18th
Moorea has small mountains from 742 to 1207 meters
Je pars à sa découverte en compagnie de Moa et sa belle jeep jaune, nous grimpons sur une côte raide pour arriver au sommet qui nous offre une vue à 360°
I leave to its discovery together with Moa and his beautiful yellow jeep, we climb on a stiff coast to arrive at the summit which offers us a view in 360 °
Des immenses champs d’ananas et bien sûr des distilleries pour faire des jus et un pétillant d’ananas ; j’ai gouté un excellent sorbet à l’ananas (la boule blanche et du sorbet au corosol)
Immense fields of pineapple and of course distilleries to make juices and sparkling of pineapple; I enjoyed an excellent sherbet the pineapple (the white ball and the sherbet in the corosol)

Des ruines d’un temple polynésien infesté de moustiques…
Et le sympathique groupe de ce safari (2 couples de canadien, 1 couple de français)

Pendant la journée en bateau Taina nous a emmené voir des sculptures sous-marines en pierre volcanique.
Tihoti les a sculptées il y a 40 ans et les a immergées il y a 17 ans en commémoration et hommage aux ancêtres polynésiens.
En effet il y a 200 ans, les missionnaires ont obligé les tahitiens à abandonner leur croyance et à jeter à l’eau toutes leurs statues.
The sculptor Tihoti Guy
During the day by boat Taina took us to see submarine sculptures in volcano stone.
Tihoti sculptured them 40 years ago and immersed them 17 years ago in remembrance and tribute in the Polynesian ancestors.
Indeed 200 years ago, the missionaries obliged Tahitians to give up their faith and to throw to the water all their statues.
Taina m’a expliqué que le sculpteur vivait dans le village, alors le lendemain j’ai marché dans la direction indiquée sans trop savoir ce que je découvrirai. Presque 2 km de marche et sans aucune pancarte nulle part…
Taina explained to me that the sculptor lived in the village, then the next day I walked in the direction indicated without knowing too much what I shall discover. Almost 2 km of walking and without any sign nowhere …
Je suis arrivée devant une belle et grande statue de pierre devant un chemin…
J’ai marché sur le chemin et au fur et à mesure je voyais des petites statues qui ornaient les côtés du chemin, l’endroit était serein avec des belles fleurs rouges, des énormes pieds de bananiers.
I arrived in front of a beautiful and big stony statue in front of a path …
I walked on the path and 
as one goes along I saw small statues which decorated the sides of the path, the place was serene with beautiful red flowers, enormous feet of banana trees.
Puis j’ai débouché sur un petit salon de jardin fait de pneus recyclés et j’ai vu un monsieur.
Je lui ai dit que je cherchais les sculptures de Tihoti Guy et il m’a dit « Je suis Tihoti ! »
Ça s’appelle un moment magique !
Nous avons papoté un moment en regardant la mer, puis assis dans les fauteuils en pneus`
Then I arrived in a sitting room of garden made by recycled tires and I saw a sir.
I told him that I looked for the sculptures of Tihoti Guy and he told me « I am Tihoti! »
That is called a magic moment!
We chatted one moment by looking at the sea, then sat in armchairs in tires
C’était vraiment un très beau moment
It was really a very nice moment
