All my hardwork has paid off!

 

It takes a lot of time to settle down in a new apartment, especially in my apartment because it lacks a lot of furniture.

So I run about to many shops: Carrefour for the home appliances, Ikea and the Chinese shops to find furniture!

It took a lot of time … But after that… woah my home will be cozy! Finally I hope …

I went to some stores with Patricia, the others with Lan, and I still have to go back.

And this evening the sofa (tight budget because the owner paid for it) arrived!

It’s not bad! I added some cushions.

 

 

 

Ça en vaut la peine !

 

Un nouvel appartement ça implique de passer du temps pour s’installer ! Surtout que dans le mien il manque plein de trucs…

Donc je cavale dans les magasins : Carrefour pour l’électro ménager, Ikea et des magasins chinois pour trouver des meubles !

Ça prend plein de temps… Mais après… wouah ça sera cosi chez moi ! Enfin j’espère…

Je suis allée dans certains magasins avec Patricia, d’autres avec Lan et il faut encore que j’y retourne !

Et ce soir le canapé (petit budget car pris en charge par le propriétaire) est arrivé !

Il n'est pas mal ! J'ai ajouté quelques coussins.

 

Saint Valentin Valentine’s Day

Today it’s Valentine’s Day but it’s also the birthday of my friend Sophie who lives in Fontainebleau near Paris.

I tried a new restaurant (still one will say to me you!) “The Little Saigon”.

I was together with Rodolphe.

Gourmet menu: foie gras, cream of mushroom soup, pot of seafoods. That does titillate well to the mouth to find flavours typical from us! The dessert on the other hand was not too much made a success. In spite of the beautiful look (see the photo) it was rather insipid and without too much taste…

 

Bonne anniversaire Sophie !

 

Aujourd’hui c’est la Saint Valentin mais c’est aussi l’anniversaire de mon amie Sophie qui vit à Fontainebleau près de Paris.

J’ai essayé un nouveau restaurant (encore un me direz vous !) « Le Petit Saigon ».

J’étais en compagnie de Rodolphe.

Super menu : foie gras, velouté de champignon à la crème fraiche, marmite de fruits de mer. Ça fait du bien au palais de retrouver des saveurs bien de chez nous ! Le dessert par contre n’était pas trop réussi. Malgré la belle allure (voir la photo) il était plutôt fade et sans trop de goût…

Today I had a dinner in a new restaurant near my apartment.

The Saffron.

I was with Canelle and Yannick and we ate a paella, good but no as well as my mother’s paella!

During this time, Patricia, the poooooooor, was in the job…

Aujourd’hui j’ai diné dans un restaurant nouveau près de mon appartement.

J’étais avec Canelle et Yannick et nous avons mangé une paella, bonne mais pas aussi bonne que celle de ma maman !

Pendant ce temps là, Patricia, la pôôôôôvre était au boulot…

The rate of pollution today is particularly raised. It is quite covered and grey and ugly!

That irritates eyes, throat…

And to finish it is raining! Rather rare thing in Beijing …

 

Le taux de pollution aujourd’hui est particulièrement élevé. C’est tout couvert et gris et moche !

Ça irrite les yeux, la gorge…

Et pour finir il pleut ! Chose assez rare à Pékin…
