Embarquons... Nous voyons au loin le pont Golden Gate…

La prison et le pont font parties du même Parc National

Découvrons d’abord l’extérieur.

Les bâtiments, enfin parfois ce qu’il en reste car le vent, le sel contribuent à leur détérioration… C’est d’ailleurs le coût exorbitant de remise en état qui a conduit à la fermeture d’Alcatraz le 21 mars 1963.

Les vues « offertes » aux prisonniers pour mieux leur rappeler ce à quoi ils n’ont pas droit.

Let’s discover at first the outside.

Buildings, finally sometimes that there remains because the wind, the salt contribute to their deterioration … It's moreover the exaggerated cost of restoration that led to the closure of Alcatraz on March 21st, 1963.

 

 

The views "offered" to prisoners to remind to them better what they don’t have right.

Je dois recharger mon téléphone ; Sur Internet, le site de H2owireless (mon opérateur américain) ne fonctionne pas ! On doit remplir des champs obligatoires inactifs… Donc c’est impossible à faire !

I have to recharge my telephone; on the Internet, the site of H2owireless (my American operator) doesn’t work! We have to fill inactive compulsory fields … Thus it’s impossible to make!

Les boutiques proposées sur Internet, ne sont plus d’actualité ! Les 2 premiers endroits où je suis allée ne faisaient pas cet opérateur !

The shops proposed on the Internet don’t make any more this operator. It was the case in the first 2 shops where I went.

Après environ 3 heures à aller de boutique en boutique, je trouve enfin chez Best Buy la fameuse carte pour 40 $ !

After approximately 3 hours to go of shop to shop I find finally at Best Buy the famous card for 40 $!

Je demande à la vendeuse de m’aider à recharger mon téléphone et j’ai bien fait car une heure après elle n’avait toujours pas réussi à le faire, ça ne fonctionnait pas… Elle s’est fait aider par un collègue, et après quelques manipulations, ils me disent que c’est fait !

I ask to the seller to help me to recharge my telephone and I did well because one hour later she had not still managed to make it, that didn’t work … She was helped by a colleague, and after some manipulations, they tell me that it's done!

Lorsque nous voulons vérifier sur mon compte le nouveau crédit, là aussi ça ne fonctionne pas !

When we want to verify on my account the new credit, there also that do not work!

Le soir, j’ai reçu un mail de H2owireless me disant que j’avais rechargé pour 0 $ !

In the evening, I received an e-mail of H2owireless telling me that the total amount charged is 0 $!

Donc mon téléphone ne fonctionne plus…

So my telephone doesn’t work any more …

J’attends la réponse du service client à qui j’ai envoyé une réclamation…

 

I’m waiting for the answer of the customer service to whom I sent a complaint …

Un conseil : si vous venez aux Etats Unis ne choisissez pas H2owireless !

An advice: if you come to the United States don’t choose H2owireless!

Palais des Beaux Arts

Un jardin, serein et agréable pour se reposer un peu, avec en décor, ce beau bâtiment classique inspiré de l'architecture grecque. Le Palais a été construit à l'occasion de l'exposition internationale Panama-Pacific en 1915.

Golden Gate Bridge

Après le docteur, balade jusqu’à la Marina (pas loin) pour voir le fameux pont de Golden Gate !

Un peu dans la brume le pont… Et Dane en Chine à San francisco, a comme à son habitude, les cheveux au vent !

After the doctor, the stroll until Marina (not far) to see the famous bridge of Golden Gate!

A little in the mist the bridge … And Dane in China in San Francisco, has as usual, hair in the wind!

Je marche pas mal dans les rues, ça permet de bien prendre le pouls de la ville.

I walk a long moment in streets, that allows to take well the pulse of the city.

Fleurs, couleurs, tri des ordures, pub… la ville en somme !

Flowers, colors, sorting of the garbage, the pub … the city actually!
