Samedi 10 septembre - Saturday, September 10^th

Avec Yvon ma tante nous partons en dehors de New york pour une grande balade découverte (pour moi) de Long Island.

Belle journée ensoleillée où nous profitons de la côte, d’un bon déjeuner, d’une petite croisière dans la Baie de Manhasset…

Journée agréable !

With Yvon my aunt we leave outside New York for a big Long Island discovery stroll (for me).

Beautiful sunny day when we take advantage of the coast, the good lunch, the small cruise in the Manhasset Bay…

New York ! J'y suis ! - I am there!

Un peu plus de 5 heures de vol entre San Francisco et New York.

Le 1^er endroit où je me suis rendue, c’est chez mon tonton Bernard ! Dans son restaurant « Paname » un restaurant français comme il se doit !

A little more than 5 hours of flight between San Francisco and New York.

The 1^st place where I went, it is at my uncle's Bernard's! In his restaurant « Paname » a French restaurant as is proper!

Il faut donc choisir…

Je fais le choix de montrer quelques œuvres d’artistes américains puisque je suis aux Etats Unis !

Il y avait beaucoup d’œuvres d’artistes européens que je ne montrerai pas là !

5 floors of exhibition in this  San Francisco museum!

I choose to show some works of American artists because I am in the United States!

There were many works of European artists which I shall not show there!

Pour la plupart, je ne connaissais pas ces artistes américains.
