Pluie… Rain…

Since last November 14th when I arrived at Beijing, today it is the 1st day of rain… Four months without any drop and pof… today this cracks! Beijing in the rain it is not top !

And after some lukewarm days, today it’s wet cold… brhhhh…

So this morning big bazaar on the street…

Despite all these small meteorological difficulties, I don’t forget that today it is the birthday of my brother Olivier.

C’est le printemps… 

BON ANNIVERSAIRE OLIVE !

 

Depuis le 14 novembre dernier où je suis arrivée à Pékin, aujourd’hui c’est le 1^er jour de pluie… Quatre mois sans une goutte et pof… aujourd’hui ça craque ! Pékin sous la pluie ce n’est pas top !

Et après quelques jours tièdes, aujourd’hui c’est un froid humide… brhhhh…

Du coup ce matin, big bazar sur la route…

Toutes ces petites difficultés météorologiques ne me font pas oublier qu’aujourd’hui c’est l’anniversaire de mon frère Olivier.

A « socially responsible fund » was announced on March 11th on this year by China’s Industrial Fund Management. This fund is an innovation encouraged by Beijing.

This fund will give a palette of shares of business companies in « decent » results in term of security and hygiene at the work, payment of employer’s social security contributions etc.

Range will include companies which protect environment and will exclude the intoxicating stocks of tobacco, alcohol or casino.

In 1st view, such a militant fund should find it difficult to be obvious on the Chinese market swearing only by raw benefit.

The fund’s authors bet on the shibboleth: « stocks of tomorrow, will be lasting or be not »

Un « fonds responsable » -naïf ou osé ?

Un «fonds socialement responsable» a été annoncé le 11 mars dernier par la China’s Industrial Fund Management. Ce fonds est une innovation, encouragée par Pékin

Ce fonds offrira une palette d’actions de firmes aux résultats « décents » en terme de sécurité et d’hygiène au travail, de paiement des charges patronales etc.

L’éventail inclura aussi des sociétés qui protègent l'environnement, et exclura les valeurs enivrantes du tabac, de l’alcool ou du casino.

A 1ère vue, un fonds aussi militant devrait avoir du mal à s’imposer sur le marché chinois ne jurant que par le profit brut.

Les auteurs du Fonds, ont parié sur la devise : « les valeurs de demain seront durables, ou ne seront pas » !

Il est tard… It is late!

This morning with my driver, I tried to say in Chinese, by searching every word in my electronic dictionary:

« Na ge wan shang wo yu peng you qu fa gua de can guan jin de Yongedong » … Mysterious isn’t it?

The meaning is: « This morning I go with a friend in a French restaurant near the Lama Temple »

And therefore this evening I went to the  « Café de la Poste », and I passed a good instant with Danièle.

Here is an explanation about my come back late

 D’après mes collègues chinois, la phrase n’est pas correcte…. Bon tant pis !

Ce matin avec mon chauffeur j’ai essayé de dire en chinois, en cherchant chaque mots dans mon dictionnaire électronique :

« Na ge wan shang wo yu peng you qu fa gua de can guan jin de Yongedong » … Mystérieux n’est-ce-pas ?

Ça veut dire : «  Ce soir je vais avec une amie dans un restaurant français près du Lama Temple »

Et donc ce soir je suis allée, au Café de la Poste, et j’ai passé un bon moment avec Danièle.

Voilà l’explication de mon retour tardif.

Gymnastique collective – Collective gymnastics

This morning in the way of work I saw a group of people on the sidewalk doing collective gymnastics!

Amazing!

So like a good reporter photograph I took photo…

Aren’t they cute… all well in rank… in rhythm… (this doesn’t see in the picture…) in front of « their » restaurant, to make exercise

In SG they don’t make « still » this!

 

 

Gym boum boum… 

Ce matin en allant au travail j’ai vu un groupe de personnes sur le trottoir entrain de faire de la gymnastique collective !

Surprenant !

Alors en bon reporteur photographe, j’ai fait une photo…

Ne sont-ils pas mignons… tous bien en rang… en rythme… (ça ne se voit pas sur la photo…) devant « leur » restaurant, à faire de l’exercice !

A la SG on ne fait pas « encore » ça
