Arbres de l’île Des Pins

 

 

Le « grand » géant c’est le pin colonnaire.

Tellement grand que c'est difficile de le faire rentrer dans l'appareil photo...

Et en dessous, la belle voute d’ombre sur la route est faite avec une ribambelle de « petit » trapu qui s’appelle le bugny.

So big that it's difficult to put it in the camera...

And below, the beautiful vault of shade on the road is made with a swarm of thickset "young" which is called the bugny.

Un festin de rois !

Mardi 17 mai midi

Arrêt à l’îlot Moro, un petit paradis dans le lagon !

Au menu une langouste pour commencer le repas…

Puis un gigantesque plat de trois sortes de poissons : le poisson-perroquet, le mulet et le dawa

(je crois) accompagné d’ignames mauves et blanches…

Et pour finir de la papaye dans du citron…

Une tuerie ce repas !

Stop in the island Moro, a small paradise in the lagoon!

To the menu a spiny lobster to begin the meal …

Then a gigantic fish dish: the fish-parrot, the mule and the dawa (I believe) accompanied with mauve and white yams …

And to finish of the papaya in the lemon …

That was awesome this meal

Après ça, sieste obligatoire ! Ça tombe bien il y avait des hamacs…

After that, compulsory nap! That falls well there were hammocks …

Belle journée !

Le bénitier

Le bénitier est un mollusque, il ne faut surtout pas mettre ses doigts dans la fente car il attrape et fait mal...

The « bénitier » is a mollusk, you should not especially put the fingers in the crack because it catches and hurts...

Un petit îlot perdu au milieu du lagon où la luminosité est tellement forte qu’il est difficile de garder les yeux ouverts…
