Je suis montée sur l’Harbour Bridge…

C’était géant !

Vues magnifiques au coucher du soleil et à la nuit.

Temps splendide, clair, très dégagé (j’avais bien choisi ma journée)

I climbed Harbour Bridge …

It was huge!

Wonderful sights at sunset and in the night.

Magnificent, clear, very clear weather (I had chosen well my day) 

Au total ça prend environ 3 heures 30 : préparation, montée, prendre son temps pour savourer les vues, descente et remettre ses habits de ville

Expérience inoubliable J J J J J J

All in all that sets approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes : preparation, climb, to take its time to savor the views, the descent and hand its city clothes

Journée relax à la maison, lessive, réservation de bus, recherche prochain dodo etc…

Et délicieux déjeuner partagé avec mon hôte Patty qui me parle en espagnol pour me changer de l’anglais J J J

Relaxed day at the house, I made washing clothes, bus’ reservation, look for next dodo etc. …

And delicious lunch shared with my host Patty who speaks to me in Spanish to change me of the English J J J

Au retour avant de prendre le ferry pour rentrer, je rencontre Lina, une charmante française arrivée depuis peu en Australie et qui travaille à Sydney ; Nous papotons, en français, (c’est reposant) sur le chemin du retour !

On the way back before taking the ferry to return, I meet Lina, charming French one arrived recently in Australia and which works in Sydney; we chat, in French, (it is restful) on the way back!

Manly Plage...

Dimanche 7 février

Super belle journée ensoleillée… Et oui ça arrive même à Sydney !!!

L’après midi je vais à la plage.

Ferrry de Kirribilly à Circular Quay

Puis ferry de Circular Quay à Manly Beach avec plein plein plein de monde…

Objectif : aller à Shelly beach dans une petite baie où il n’y a pas de grosses vagues comme à Manly Beach

Je pars dans le mauvais sens ! du coup je marche 2 fois plus pour arriver à la bonne plage, je suis trop fatiguée pour me baigner, il est déjà 19h, je me contente de m’asseoir sur un banc et de regarder les autres s’animer…

Great beautiful sunny day … And yes that arrives even to Sydney!!!

After noon I go to the beach.

Ferrry from Kirribilly to Circular Quay

Then ferry of Circular Quay to Manly Beach with full full a lot of people …

 

Objective: go to Shelly beach in a small bay where there are no big waves as to Manly Beach

I leave in the wrong direction! SO I walk twice more to arrive to the good beach, I am too much tired to swim, it’s already 17pm, I content with sitting down on a bench and with watching the others livening up…

At night Sydney sparkles of one thousand lights...
