Des Bouddhas sont creusés à même la roche dans cette belle montagne.

 

 

In the Shaxi village, after a long wait … Antoine finally had "his" pastas’dish …

We drank an excellent coffee in a small bar on the square of the village.

 

 

De retour au village, après une longue attente… Antoine a enfin réussi à avoir « son » plat de pâtes…

Nous avons dégusté un excellent café dans un petit bar sur la place du village de Shaxi.

 

Sichuan résumé. Sichuan summary.

Great journey …

 

Our week in Sichuan was very interesting.

Too short … We were not able to make all that we had foreseen …

Our plans were modified and we had to adapt the program according to the bad state of roads further to the floods of the last week.

 

I shall soon make the report of this journey!

But before it I already have to end the report of Yunnan...

And as my daughter is there, I think that I am going to have not a lot of time …

I also have to prepare my departure of China …

Therefore full of things to be made.

Notre semaine dans le Sichuan a été très intéressante.

Un peu trop courte… Nous n’avons pas pu faire tout ce que nous avions prévu…

Nos plans ont été modifiés et nous avons dû adapter le programme en fonction du mauvais  état des routes suite aux inondations de la semaine passée.

 

Je ferai bientôt le reportage de ce voyage !

Mais avant cela je dois déjà terminer le reportage du Yunnan…

Et comme ma fille est là, je pense que je ne vais pas avoir beaucoup de temps…

Je dois aussi préparer mon départ de Chine…

Donc plein de choses à faire.

Great she is there …

 

At short night… but doesn’t matter because my lovely daughter arrived to Beijing…

She stays two weeks, one in Beijing and the other one we shall go to visit Shanghai and the surroundings.

 

Youpi elle est là…

 

Courte nuit… mais ce n’est pas un problème parce que ma fille chérie est arrivée à Pékin…

Elle reste deux semaines, une à Pékin et une autre nous irons visiter Shanghai et les alentours.

Retour du Sichuan. Return of Sichuan

Yesterday long day of route …

 

Woke up at 6 am!

First, Jiu Zai Gou's departure for Chengdu

Then Chengdu for Beijing; here unpleasant surprise …

Because of violent thunderstorms on Beijing all the flights are delayed …

Our flight had to leave at 8:30 pm, we took off at 0:15 am!

Bad adventure in a sense …

Arrival at Beijing at 3 am in the morning. The time to get back luggage, to take a taxi, we arrived home at 4 am …

At 3 am in the morning I did not dare to ask to my driver to pick up us at the airport, as far as Marylene arrived in the same night at 5:35 am, and he had to pick up her …

So the night was very short …

 

Hier longue journée de trajet…

 

Levé à 6 heures !

D’abord départ de Jiu Zai Gou pour Chengdu

Puis Chengdu pour Pékin; là mauvaise surprise…

En raison de violents orages sur Pékin tous les vols sont retardés…

Le notre devait partir à 20 h 30, nous avons décollé à 0 h 15 !

La galère en quelque sorte…

Arrivée à Pékin à 3 heures du matin. Le temps de récupérer les bagages, de prendre un taxi, nous sommes arrivées à la maison à 4 h…

A 3 h du matin je n’ai pas osé demander à mon chauffeur de venir nous chercher à l’aéroport, d’autant que Marylène arrivait dans la même nuit à 5 h 35 du matin, et qu’il devait aller la chercher…

La nuit a donc été très courte…
