In the Lan’s wedding I was the only foreign person.

As I came from France for the wedding, Lan was very touched.

She made me rise on the stage. I said some words in Chinese then Lan translated that I was very happy to be among them there.

She offered me her bouquet and that touched me a lot

Au mariage de Lan j’étais la seule personne étrangère.

Comme je suis venue de France pour le mariage, Lan était très touchée.

Elle m’a fait monter sur la scène. J’ai dit quelques mots en chinois puis Lan a traduit que j’étais très heureuse d’être là parmi eux.

She offered me her bouquet and that touched me a lot

Elle m’a offert son bouquet, et ça m’a beaucoup touché

Jeux de devinettes (en chinois…) , répondre à des questions concernant la vie du nouveau couple, pour gagner, du vin ou divers petits cadeaux

Thanking and respect to the parents. In China this moment is very important during a marriage

Remerciement et respect envers les parents. En Chine ce moment est très important lors d’un mariage.

 

Here is a beautiful boat builds by the father of the bridegroom

The ceremonial continues with candles lit by the bridegrooms

Here is the banqueting hall

Approximately 250 guests were invited in the Lan and Tianlun wedding’s dinner

Environ 250 personnes étaient invitées au repas du mariage de Lan et Tianlun

The groom proclaims out a poem (written by himself), in French, to his bride who waits for him and hears him

 

 

Le jeune marié clame un poème (écrit par lui-même), en français, à sa belle qui l’attend et l’entend

 

Lan, in the 2^nd floor, in an halo of light, answers to him by singing, in French also!

Then each makes the declaration to the other one

Then it is the exchange of the wedding rings

Then champagne is poured in fountain into the pyramid of glasses

Then the dinner starts

Lan changed her dresses 5 times!

The 1^st one was white

Lan a changé 5 fois de robe !

La 1^ère était blanche

 

The 2^nd is white so quite lace with a long veil

La 2^nd est blanche aussi tout en dentelle avec un long voile

 

The 3^rd is of Chinese style, so red

La 3^ème est de style chinoise, donc rouge

 

 

The 4^th is mauve

La 4^ème est mauve

And the last one, very elegant is red

Et la dernière, très élégante est rouge

 

As for I stayed in black dress:::)))

Quant à moi je suis restée en robe noire :::)))

Lan was magnificent and radiant
