Arrivée sur Toronto en cours d’après midi.

Visite guidée de la « vieille ville » créée dans les années 1790 avec ses bâtiments en briques.

 

Arrived on Toronto in the afternoon.

Visit of the « old town » created in the 1790s with its brick-built buildings.

Visite du quartier des affaires où la Banque Royale du Canada a un immeuble doré, avec de l’or (du vrai) dans les fenêtres !

 

Chaque banque a son gratte-ciel.

 

Visit of the business district where the Royal Bank of Canada has a golden building, with some gold (the real) in windows!

Every bank has its skyscraper.

 

Visite de la place de l’hôtel de ville où cohabite l’ancien hôtel de ville devenu Palais de Justice après avoir échappé à la destruction grâce aux habitants du quartier et le nouvel hôtel de ville, bâtiment moderne de forme arrondie qui vu du ciel ressemble à un œil.

Visit of the place of the city hall where co-exists the former city hall which became Law court having escaped the destruction thanks to the local residents and the new city hall, the modern building of rounded off form which seen by the sky looks like an eye.

 

Ses trams, les anciens et les nouveaux, qui sillonnent la ville.

Its streetcars, the former and the new, which cross the city.

Mille îles - Thousand islands

Tuesday, October 11^th

Tour guidé de 3 jours et 2 nuits en Ontario jusqu’à Toronto et les Chutes du Niagara.

Au passage, arrêt aux Mille Iles avec une petite balade en bateau au milieu des îles qui en fait sont au nombre de 1800 ! Et tout cela sans Capitaine Gary !

3 days and 2 nights tour in Ontario to Toronto and Niagara Falls.

In the passage, stop in Thousand Islands with a small boat trip in the middle of the islands which in fact are 1800! And all this without Captain Gary!

Plein de minuscules îles avec une seule maison, certaines avec château, on navigue entre toutes ces îles sur les eaux bleue du Saint Laurent. Plutôt joli !

Lots of tiny islands with just a house, some with a castle, we navigate between all these islands on blue waters of the Saint Laurent. Rather attractive!

95% des gens sur le bateau sont des chinois ! ça mitraille de partout…

J’ai aussi droit à une photo avec un monsieur à qui j’avais demandé, en chinois, comment il s’appelait mais je n’ai rien compris à sa réponse !

95 % of people on the boat are Chinese people! That snap away of everywhere …

I am also entitled to a photo with a gentleman whom I had asked, in Chinese, how he was called but I understood nothing in its answer!
