Après l’avoir vu d’un bateau, il fallait bien aller le traverser à pieds !

After having seen it from a boat, it was necessary to go to cross it by feet!

J’ai mis une quarantaine de minutes pour le traverser à aller (temps des photos oblige !)

I put about forty minutes to cross it on the way out (time of photos oblige!)

Et seulement une vingtaine de minutes pour le retour.

And only about twenty minutes on the way back.

La croisière nous amenait sous le Pont Golden Gate…

C’était superbe !

The cruise brought us under the Golden Gate Bridge …

Il fallait faire plus d’une heure de queue pour embarquer, mais grâce à Marcus, (un grand gaillard chargé d’organiser la queue), qui a pitié d’une pauvre française perdue dans tout ce tohu-bohu et de bonne foi et ayant mal au genou, je passe devant tout le monde !

It was necessary to make more than one hour of queue to embark, but thanks to Marcus, (a strapping lad who organizes the queue), who feels sorry for a poor French woman lost in all this jumble and honest and having pain in the knee, I come before everybody!

Sur le bateau, c’est aussi la cohue ! - On the boat, it’s also the bustle!

Et là, je n’ai pas de sympathique Capitaine Gary pour faire la croisière en hôte privilégiée dans la cabine de pilotage… 

And there, I don’t have nice Captain Gary to make the cruise in special guest in the Captain cabin …
