Samedi 26 décembre
Aujourd’hui je pars à Sydney ! Mon avion décolle à 13 h. Je boucle ma valise et bye bye Brisbane. J’y reviendrais plus tard dans mon périple.

Today I am going to Sydney! My plane take off at 1pm. I pack my suitcase and bye bye Brisbane. I would return later in my trip there.

Très belle journée passée chez Rosa et Ly des amis de Rébecca.
Nous étions encore toute une bande de joyeux drilles à festoyer, boire, discuter et rigoler…
Dessert local : le pavelova (je ne suis pas sûre de l’écriture !)
C’est de la meringue, avec de la crème et plein de fruits sur le dessus, c’est « un peu » sucré et c’est bon
Et bien sûr la traditionnelle bûche de noël, faite maison ! Excellente !

We were another whole band of jolly fellow to feast, to drink, to discuss and to laugh…

It's some meringue, with some cream and full of fruits on the top, it is a bit sweetened and it is good
And of course the traditional yule log, home-made! Delicious!

Pour la soirée de noël, hier soir, chacun apportait un cadeau d’une valeur identique (environ 10$) et la répartition était tirée au sort… cela s’appelle « Secret Santa » soit Secret du Père Noël
Alors j’étais allée au supermarché pour trouver des petites choses rigolotes et préparer mon cadeau
Et j’ai reçu en retour une bouteille de vin blanc australien, cool !
La soirée de réveillon était très sympathique, en arrivant je ne connaissais personne mais j’ai pas mal papoté (plus en français qu’en anglais !) car les français étaient les plus nombreux !
Christmas presents
For the Christmas’ evening, yesterday evening, every person had to bring a present, of an identical value ( around 10$ ) and the distribution was drawn lots … It is called "Secret Santa"
Then I had gone to the supermarket to find funny little gifts and prepare my present
And I received in return a bottle of Australian white wine, it’s fun
The Christmas Eve’ evening was very nice, by arriving I knew nobody but I chatted well (more in French than in English!) because French were the most numerous!
Et les gamins qui se baignaient dans la piscine le soir de noël ! ça c’était inédit pour moi…
And the kids who bathed in the swimming pool in the evening of Christmas! That it was new for me …
