Avec Yvon nous partons de nouveau vers Long Island mais cette fois nous allons au bout de la pointe à Orient Point. Le bout du bout !
With Yvon we leave again towards Long Island but this time we go at the end of the point at Orient Point. The end of the end!
Nous déjeunons au bord de l’eau à Greenport, c’est bien agréable ! Excellentes huitres !
Puis nous nous arrêtons en route pour visiter des domaines viticoles et faire quelques dégustations… Chez Bedell nous goûtons 5 vins, tous très bons.
We lunch at the water's edge at Greenport, it is very pleasant! Excellent oysters!
Then we stop to visit vineyards and make some tastings … At Bedell we enjoy 5 wines, all very good.
En cours de route nous croisons de belles voitures anciennes, des Ferrari dans un des domaines, nous voyons de belles maisons recouvertes de tomettes de bois.
Along the way we cross old beautiful cars, Ferrari in one of the domains, we see beautiful houses covered with wooden floor-tiles.
Et comme c’est le 11 septembre, 15ème anniversaire de l’attaque des Twin towers, il y a des drapeaux américains sur de nombreuses maisons et chez les pompiers. Pour ne pas oublier…
And as it is September 11th, 15th anniversary of the attack of Twin towers, there are American flags on numerous houses and to fire brigades. Pour ne pas oublier… Not to forget …

Je ne savais pas qu'il y avait des chevreuils à New York ....En tout cas je n'en ai pas vu à Times Square... Il faisait nuit ...
The attractive red car is Ferrari. There were about ten side by side! I am make scold by the guard of cars because I had opened the car door! Then no way to rise inside ... and I did not find the owner of the beautiful car!!!
La jolie voiture rouge est une Ferrari. Il y en avait une dizaine côte à côte ! Je me suis fais houspiller par le gardien des voitures parce que j'avais ouvert la portière ! Alors pas question de monter dedans... et je n'ai pas trouvé le propriétaire de la belle voiture !!!
Les chevreuils de Time Square ont été déplacés à Long Island ... On était quand même à presque 3 heures de route de New York !
