Après les baleines et mon petit cœur tout retourné à cause du roulis, il est temps d’embarquer, direction la ville de Christchurch sur la côte Est
Le train « Coastal Pacific » longe la côte et c’est plutôt joli !

After whales and my small heart quite returned because of the roll, it's time to embark, direction the city of Christchurch on the East coast
The train Coastal Pacific goes along the coast and it is rather attractive

Nous partons en bateau au large pour aller voir les baleines, puis à un moment le bateau s’arrête et nous scrutons l’eau et attendons…
Et nous voyons une grosse masse noire qui flotte, qui fait des bulles assez longtemps (on s’impatiente !) et tout d’un coup elle s’élève puis replonge lourdement
Pas facile à attraper avec les photos !
Et lentement la baleine disparaît dans l’eau, laissant sa grande queue s’enfoncer doucement dans l’eau !
C’est beau…
Il faut avoir le cœur bien accroché car dans le bateau ça secoue pas mal !
The whales of Kaikoura - Monday, March 21st
We go by boat on the open sea to see whales, then at a moment boat stop and we scrutinize the water and wait …
And we see a big black mass which floats, which makes bubbles for a long time (we get impatient!) and suddenly it rises then dives back heavily
Not easy to catch with photos!
And slowly the whale disappears in the water, letting its big tail sink slowly into the water!
It is beautiful…
It is necessary to have the well hung on heart because in the boat that shakes a lot
